Prime Minister Roble Commemorates SNA Day With Troops on the Battlefield

The Prime Minister’ Mohamed Hussein Roble, congratulated all members of the Somali National Army (SNA) forces, including officers, non-commissioned officers, officers, soldiers, wives, children and all members of the armed forces.

“Your successes on the battlefield and the fact that you have weakened the strength of the terrorists give a good indication of the momentum and plans for rebuilding the Armed Forces.”

The Prime Minister inspected various parts of the Awdheegle Command Center, monitored the living conditions of the Army, and listened to reports from senior officials who shared with the Prime Minister their commitment to liberating the country from Al Shabab terrorists.

Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, accompanied by FGS Minister of Defense Hassan Hussein Haji, Minister of Health Fawzia Abikar Nur and Commander of the Armed Forces Major General Odowa Yusuf Rage, prayed for God’s mercy on all fallen soldiers who were martyred defending the country and for the Somali people to sleep peacefully.

He also stressed that the government will give full priority to the families and children they have left behind, while strengthening the care and SNA medical facilities treating wounded heroes in line of duty.
